Salisbury Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Mushroom Gravy
Ingredients

For the steaks:
- 1lb.Ground beef
- ¼C.Breadcrumbs
- 1Large egg
- ½Onion chopped fine
- 1tsp.Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2Tbsp.Olive oil
- 1Package refrigerated put together mashed potatoes cooked to the package deal instructions
For the gravy:
- 2Tbsp.Butter
- 8oz.Sliced mushrooms
- 2C.Beef broth
- 2Tbsp.Flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
How To Make Salisbury Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Mushroom Gravy
- In a bowl, mix the floor beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix with your arms till properly combined.
- Form the meat combination into 4 even patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a massive skillet over medium excessive heat.
- Add the patties to the heated skillet and saute for a few minutes on every aspect till evenly seared. Remove and set aside.
- Remove the extra fats from the skillet.
- Place the butter and mushrooms into the skillet over medium heat, and saute till the mushrooms start to soften.
- Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms, and stir to mix well.
- Slowly whisk in the red meat broth and add salt and pepper to style if needed.
- Return the meat to the skillet, and decrease the warmness to medium low.
- Simmer till the meat is cooked thru and the gravy is thickened.
- Serve over the organized mashed potatoes.
