Salmon Patties
Ingredients:
- 1 12 ounce can pink salmon
- 2 whole eggs
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped pepper
- 2 tablespoons yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Texas Pete’s Hot Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 slice crumbled white bread
- 1/4 cup flour, adding slowly if necessary to adjust consistency.

Instructions:
- Open the canned salmon and place it in a colander in the sink to drain.
- Remove the large bones if you don’t want them. However, they are still edible.
- Shred the salmon with a fork.Place the shredded salmon in a large bowl.
- Add two whole eggs.
- Add the chopped onions and peppers.
- Add cornmeal
- Add salt
- Add garlic powder
- Add mayonnaise
- Add Worcestershire sauce
- Add Texas Pete’s hot sauce
- Add the ground black pepper
- Crumble the slice of bread and add it to the bowl.
- Mix the ingredients gently without over-processing.If the mixture is too wet, add flour if necessary to adjust
- the consistency.
- Divide the mixture and form four burgers. Put aside.
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add butter or oil for frying.
- Place the burgers in the pan and fry the bottom.Carefully flip the burgers and brown the other side.
- When both sides are golden brown, remove from pan and drain on paper towels.
