This delicious strawberry bread is packed with plump, juicy strawberries and a hint of cinnamon. It tastes delicious topped with my creamy whipped strawberry butter and reminds me of the fresh taste of spring. This beautiful and delicious bread is perfect as a Christmas gift or as a gift for the hostess of a party.

DELICIOUS HOMEMADE STRAWBERRY BREAD

This lovely quick bread with a tender, spongy consistency is ideal at any time of the year. However, it is a nice and pleasant gift for your friends and family during the holidays.For optimal flavor, top with sweet strawberry butter and cream cheese or drizzle with a homemade powdered sugar glaze.

STRAWBERRY BREAD INGREDIENTS

For the bread portion of this recipe you will need strawberries, flour, granulated sugar, panela, ground cinnamon, salt, baking powder, eggs, vegetable oil and vanilla extract. For the butter portion of this recipe you will need unsalted butter, powdered sugar and strawberries.

HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY BREAD?

Chop the strawberries and add a little measured sugar to extract the juice and sweeten them. Next, in a medium bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, baking soda, and baking soda.

In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, add oil, vanilla extract and strawberries. Next, add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in three parts. Stir after each portion until well combined, as quick bread can become tough if overmixed.Pour the dough into a well-greased and floured loaf pan with a diameter of 23 x 12 cm. Bake for about an hour or until a toothpick inserted into the top comes out clean. Let the bread cool in the pan on a rack for 10 minutes before turning it over.

To prepare the strawberry butter, beat the butter with a hand mixer until light and creamy. Then add the powdered sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.Finally add the chopped strawberries.

BETH’S RECIPE TIPS

Grease your loaf pan well and flour it or spray it with Bakers Joy (which I love).
Use fresh, ripe, fragrant and sweet berries.
Add the strawberries with some measured sugar to release some juice and make the strawberries really sweet.
Skip the electric mixer and mix this quick bread by hand.Soak the butter for the whipped strawberry butter for about an hour. It should be quite soft before preparation so that it is foamy and airy.
Add 3/4 cup chopped walnuts, walnuts or chocolate chips.
Bake the bread until a toothpick inserted into the center of the top comes out clean.
Do not over mix the dough otherwise it will become hard.Mix the dough until just incorporated.
