INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cabbages
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 2 pieces diced onions
  • 1 – 15 oz. could tomato sauce
  • 1-28 oz. You can crush the tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce (in the flesh)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Put a head of cabbage in a pan of boiling water, and remove the cabbage leaves in turn.
Remove the hard part on the cabbage leaf finish with a sharp blade.

Combine all the fixings except the 15 oz container of tomato sauce and crushed tomatoes and put a modest amount (size of a frankfurter) on a cabbage leaf, and rise like a fajita and place the fold towards down in a dish of goulash. I put tomato sauce and a cabbage leaf or 2 on the base of the meal dish so the Halupky doesn’t consume.
Pour the crushed tomatoes over the Halupkys.
Cover and heat at 170 degrees for about 75 minutes.
Reduce grill temperature to 325 degrees and cook until cabbage is tender, 90 minutes more. Season every hour.
Gift with tomato sauce.

Have fun!
