Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat. Add the taco seasoning mix and water according to the package instructions. Stir in the can of diced tomatoes with green chilies, if using. Simmer for a few minutes until the mixture thickens.
  3. Prepare Wonton Cups: Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray. Place a wonton wrapper in each cup, pressing it down gently to form a cup shape.
  4. Fill Wonton Cups: Spoon the seasoned ground beef mixture into each wonton cup. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the wonton wrappers are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Add Toppings: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Top each taco cup with a dollop of sour cream, sliced black olives, diced tomatoes, and chopped green onions.
  7. Serve: Serve warm as a delicious appetizer or snack.
