Texas Trash Dip is a crowd-pleasing appetizer that originates from the Lone Star State, acknowledged for its daring flavors and hearty cuisine. This dip captures the essence of Texan remedy food, combining layers of savory elements into one addictive dish. Typically made with a range of cheeses, beans, and flavorful spices, Texas Trash Dip is ideal for any informal gathering or sport day event.

INGREDIENTS

  • A 32-ounce serving of refried beans
  • Eight ounces of cream cheese
  • One cup of sour cream
  • One taco seasoning packet
  • Two cups of cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Two cups of Monterey Jack cheese, shredded

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Set the oven temperature to 175°C, or 350°F.
2. Combine the sour cream, cream cheese, taco seasoning, and refried beans in a mixing dish. Blend thoroughly by mixing.
3. Evenly distribute this mixture into a 9 by 13-inch baking dish. Evenly distribute the cheeses on top of the bean mixture.
4. Bake for about 25 to 30 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the cheese is melted and beginning to turn golden on top and the dip is hot and bubbly.
Before serving, take it out of the oven and allow it to cool somewhat.
Serve your warm, cheesy bean dip with crackers, tortilla chips, or any other favorite dipping foods!
