INGREDIENTS
- 1 half lbs. floor beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg, gently beaten
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a massive bowl, mix the floor beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
3. In a separate bowl, combine collectively the ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar.
4. Lightly grease a 9×5 inch (23×13 cm) loaf pan.
5. Press 1/2 of the red meat combination into the backside of the pan, spreading it evenly.
6. Spoon the ketchup combination over the red meat mixture, spreading it evenly.
7. Top with the final pork mixture, once more spreading it evenly.
8. Bake for 1 hour, or till the inside temperature of the meatloaf reaches 160°F (71°C).
9. Let the meatloaf cool for 10 minutes earlier than reducing and serving. Enjoy!
