 Ingredients:

Hot dogs 3 (32 oz) packages
BBQ sauce 2/3 cup
Yellow mustard 1/3 cup
Liquid smoke 2 teaspoons
Paprika 1 tablespoon
Garlic powder 2 teaspoons
Onion powder 2 teaspoons
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper 1 teaspoon
Brown sugar 1/2 cup (divided)

 Instructions:

1. Preheat and Prep:

  • Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).

  • Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

2. Slice the Hot Dogs:

  • Cut hot dogs into thirds or quarters.

  • Place the sliced hot dogs into the prepared dish.

3. Mix the Sauce:

  • In a small bowl, combine BBQ sauce, yellow mustard, and liquid smoke.

  • Pour the mixture evenly over the hot dogs.

4. Add Seasoning:

  • In another bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and 1/4 cup brown sugar.

  • Sprinkle this seasoning mixture over the hot dogs.

5. Bake:

  • Bake at 300°F for 1 hour, tossing the hot dogs halfway through to coat well.

6. Caramelize:

  • Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar on top.

  • Increase oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).

  • Bake for an additional 10–15 minutes, or until caramelized and crispy on the edges.

7. Serve:
