CHICKEN SALAD INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb cooked fowl breast meat, diced (about four cups)
  • 2 cups seedless crimson grapes, halved
  • 1 cup celery, halved lengthwise then sliced (from 2–3 sticks celery)
  • 1/2 cup crimson onion, finely chopped (about half of medium pink onion)
  • 1 cup pecans, toasted and coarsely chopped

CHICKEN SALAD DRESSING:

  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/2 cup bitter cream or undeniable Greek yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp dill, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Toast Pecans: Begin via toasting the pecans. Place them on a dry skillet over medium-low warmth and toast for 3-5 minutes, tossing often till golden and fragrant. Transfer to a slicing board, let cool, then coarsely chop and set aside.

Prepare Salad: In a massive mixing bowl, mix the diced chicken, halved grapes, sliced celery, chopped onion, and cooled pecans. Mix properly to distribute elements evenly.
