Made with minced purple onion, bell peppers, and fragrant garlic, these Cuban black beans simmered in a combo of tasty spices and purple wine vinegar create a mouthwatering ride that will have you craving seconds.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ crimson onion minced
- 1 giant inexperienced bell pepper minced
- 1 giant purple bell pepper minced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 15 ounce cans black beans liquid and all
- 1 bay leaf
- ⅓ cup chopped cilantro
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 tablespoon pink wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt extra to taste
- ½ teaspoon pepper greater to style
INSTRUCTIONS
- Prepare your pink onion, bell peppers and garlic by using washing and mincing them.
- Heat a medium saucepan over medium excessive warmness and add your oil, minced onion and minced bell peppers. Saute for about 5-8 minutes, till they have grow to be tender.
- Add in your garlic and saute for any other 2-3 minutes.
- To your saucepan, add your black beans, bay leaf, cilantro, cumin, purple wine vinegar, salt and pepper and carry it to boil over excessive heat.
- Once your beans begin to boil, decrease the warmth to low, cowl and simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Uncover and stir your beans. Add any extra salt or pepper and serve as a side!
