Ingredients:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 eggs

  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts

  • 3 cups powdered sugar

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 baking pan.
2.In a bowl, mix sugar, sour cream and softened butter.
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time and then add the mashed banana and vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.Gradually add the dry mixture to the banana mixture and stir until well combined.
5. Add the chopped walnuts.
6. Pour the dough into the prepared baking pan and smooth the surface.7. Bake for about 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
8. For the glaze, melt the butter and let it cool slightly.Then stir in the powdered sugar, vanilla extract and milk until you have a smooth and creamy mixture.
