Crab Crescent Bites – Easy Appetizer with Creamy Crab Filling

Looking for the perfect party appetizer or game-day snack? These Crab Crescent Bites are golden, flaky, and filled with a creamy mixture of crab and cheese. They come together fast and disappear even faster!

 Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough

  • 1 cup cooked crab meat, chopped (fresh, canned, or imitation)

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional for extra creaminess)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Chopped chives or parsley, for garnish

  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

 Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. Prepare Filling

  • In a bowl, combine crab meat, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and mayonnaise (if using).

  • Mix until smooth and evenly combined.

3. Assemble the Crescents

  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.

  • Place a spoonful of the crab filling near the wide end of each triangle.

  • Roll up gently and tuck ends underneath to secure filling.

4. Bake

  • Place crescent bites on prepared baking sheet.

  • Brush tops lightly with beaten egg for a shiny, golden finish.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

5. Garnish and Serve

  • Sprinkle with chopped chives or parsley before serving.

  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or lemon wedges.

 Tips & Variations

  • Substitute crab with shrimp or salmon for variety.

  • Add a pinch of Old Bay seasoning or paprika to the filling for extra flavor.

  • These can be made ahead and reheated just before serving.
