FLAKY APPLE PIE BARS
Apple pie bars are a great size to enjoy. An all-time favorite, these apple bars are great for an after-school snack, coffee with friends, or as a simple dessert. I was looking for an apple pie, but didn’t want a classic pie. I wanted something wearable and something deeper. I’ve been making this recipe for eons. It’s one of my favorite crust and fruit combinations. It’s perfect for a crowd, so you can walk around with a piece of “apple” in your hand if you want. For an elegant dinner, you can serve it with vanilla ice cream.
