Ingredients:
- Dough:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 tsp salt
- Filling:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
- Prepare the Dough:
- In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, melted butter, egg, and salt. Add the yeast mixture and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Prepare the Caramel Pecan Topping:
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and heavy cream, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth and bubbly.
- Pour the caramel sauce into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the caramel sauce.
- Prepare the Filling:
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
- Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about 16×12 inches. Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
- Assemble the Rolls:
