Lemon Pretzel Dessert is a zesty, creamy, candy and salty dessert that is top notch convenient to make, it is best for summertime get-togethers and will be requested over and over.
Servings: 8 Servings
INGREDIENTS
- 2 ½ cups pretzels, crushed
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ⅔ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 oz cool whip
- 22 oz. lemon pie filling
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Crush pretzels into small portions the usage of a meals processor.
- In a medium bowl, add pretzels, vanilla, brown sugar, and flour. Stir till combined.
- Melt butter and add to the pretzel mixture. Stir till combined.
- Spread combination into a 9×13 baking dish, reserving ½ cup for the topping. Press combination into an even, clean layer.
- Bake for 10 minutes and let cool completely.
- In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese till easy then add powdered sugar. Beat till mixed then add cool whip and combine till simply combined.
- Once the crust has cooled completely, unfold cream cheese combination over the pretzel layer.
- Top with lemon pie filling and unfold evenly.
- Sprinkle ultimate pretzel combination over the top.
- Cover and refrigerate for four hours or overnight.
- Enjoy.
