Parmesan Baked Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops, about 1-inch thick
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 eggs, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare Coating:
- In a shallow bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat Pork Chops:
- Dip each pork chop into the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s well coated. Then, press each side of the chop into the Parmesan mixture, coating it completely.
- Prepare for Baking:
- Place the coated pork chops on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle the olive oil over the top of the chops to help them crisp up during baking.
- Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and the coating is golden and crispy.
- Serve:
- Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them with your favorite sides!
