Parmesan Baked Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops, about 1-inch thick
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare Coating:
    • In a shallow bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat Pork Chops:
    • Dip each pork chop into the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s well coated. Then, press each side of the chop into the Parmesan mixture, coating it completely.
  4. Prepare for Baking:
    • Place the coated pork chops on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle the olive oil over the top of the chops to help them crisp up during baking.
  5. Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and the coating is golden and crispy.
  6. Serve:
    • Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them with your favorite sides!
