 Ingredients

  • 8 oz rotini, penne, or preferred pasta

  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 cup crab meat (imitation or real)

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • ½ cup diced celery

  • ½ cup chopped red onion

  • ½ cup diced cucumber (optional for extra crunch)

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons sour cream or Greek yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley or dill, chopped for garnish

 Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.

  • Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.

2. Prepare the Seafood

  • If using raw shrimp, boil until pink and opaque, then cool and peel.

  • If using pre-cooked shrimp and crab, make sure they’re thawed and chopped if necessary.

3. Make the Dressing

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.

4. Combine Everything

  • In a large bowl, add the cooked pasta, shrimp, crab, tomatoes, celery, onion, and cucumber.

  • Pour the dressing over and toss gently to coat.

5. Chill and Serve

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley or dill before serving.

 Tips for Success

  • Use rotini or penne pasta so the dressing clings well.

  • Add a pinch of Old Bay seasoning or paprika for extra seafood flavor.

  • Make it ahead — it tastes even better the next day!
