Butter the inside of a 9×13 baking dish and set aside
Shred Beat the cookies until small crumbs form.
Add the melted butter and pulse until smooth. Combine them.
Pour the cookie mixture into the bottom of the baking dish, pressing down and making the layer as even as possible.
Place the crust inside. Place them in the freezer for 10 minutes while you prepare the filling.
In a bowl, stir together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and 1 cup of whipping cream.
Mix until smooth.
Spread this mixture over the cookie base and place in the freezer for another 10 minutes.
In another bowl, combine 2 packages pudding mix, milk, and ½ cup heavy cream. Beat with a whisk until it begins to thicken.
Spread the pudding on the cold cream cheese layer, smooth it evenly and chill for 30 minutes until the pudding is firm.
After 30 minutes, carefully pour the cherry pie filling over the pudding layer so that the layers do not mix.
Carefully spread the remaining whipped cream over the entire dessert.
Top with chopped nuts and chill for 1 to 2 hours before serving.
Have fun!
