Broccoli Salad with Apples and Cashews Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 large apple, cored and diced
- 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup cashews
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare the Vegetables:
- Wash and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets. Dice the apple and finely chop the red onion. Place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the Mix-Ins:
- Add the cashews and dried cranberries to the bowl with the broccoli, apple, and onion.
- Make the Dressing:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Combine the Salad:
- Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients in the large mixing bowl. Toss everything together until well coated with the dressing.
- Chill and Serve:
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
