Creamy Coconut Delight

Ingredients:
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can (13.5 oz) coconut milk
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
- 1 cup toasted coconut flakes (for topping)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Base:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk and coconut milk to the cream cheese, and beat until well combined and smooth.
- Fold in Whipped Topping:
- Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is smooth and fully incorporated.
- Add Shredded Coconut:
- Stir in the shredded sweetened coconut, ensuring it is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
- Chill:
- Pour the mixture into a large serving dish or individual serving cups.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set and chilled.
- Toast Coconut Flakes:
- While the dessert is chilling, toast the coconut flakes. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the coconut flakes in an even layer on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Watch closely to prevent burning. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
- Top and Serve:
- Just before serving, sprinkle the chilled dessert with the toasted coconut flakes.
