Deviled Ham Salad is a classic, flavorful spread that transforms leftover ham into a versatile dish, perfect for sandwiches, crackers, or as a dip. Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked ham, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped celery
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions:

  2. Combine Ingredients:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped ham, mayonnaise, yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, chopped onion, and chopped celery.
    • Add Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce if using.
    • Sprinkle in the ground black pepper.
  3. Mix Thoroughly:
    • Stir all the ingredients together until well combined and the mixture is creamy.
    • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more mayonnaise for a creamier texture or additional mustard for extra tang.
  4. Chill:
    • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve the deviled ham salad chilled as a spread for sandwiches, on crackers, or with vegetable sticks.
