With the clean flavors of dill and the savory goodness of roasted garlic, this ricotta dip is ideal for spring get togethers. We like to serve this with an assortment of crackers, breads, and clean vegetables. It’s additionally a welcome addition to any charcuterie tray.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup full fats ricotta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sparkling dill
  • 1 head roasted garlic
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil divided
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Crostini, clean vegetables, chips, crackers for dipping/spreading

ROASTED GARLIC & DILL RICOTTA DIP

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the cheese and dill. Squeeze the whole head of garlic into the mixture. Add one teaspoon of olive oil and the salt. Stir nicely to combine.
  2. Place in a serving bowl and drizzle with the final teaspoon of olive oil.
  3. Serve unfold on crostini or as a dip for vegetables, chips, or crackers.
  4. Enjoy.

 

TIPS & NOTES:

To roast garlic, preheat your oven to four hundred degrees. Start with a entire head of garlic. Remove the papery outer layer and then use a knife slice off about a half of inch of the pinnacle of the cloves. Drizzle some oil over the pinnacle and then both wrap it tightly in aluminum foil and region on a baking sheet, or put the head of garlic into a muffin tin and cowl that with some foil. Roast for 30-40 minutes or till the garlic is brown and soft.
