Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into pieces
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Cooked pasta or rice for serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Slow Cooker: Spray the inside of the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
- Layer the Ingredients: Place the cut chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker. Sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper over the chicken.
- Add the Cream Cheese and Soup: Scatter the cubes of cream cheese on top of the chicken. Pour the cream of chicken soup over the cream cheese and chicken. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- Add the Broth: Pour the chicken broth over the top of all the ingredients.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Stir and Serve: Before serving, stir the mixture to combine the melted cream cheese with the chicken and sauce. Serve over cooked pasta or rice.
- Garnish: Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired.
