Slow Cooker Rotisserie Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 complete fowl (about four lbs.)- neck and giblets removed
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 3 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon freshly floor black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt (more or less-to taste)
Instructions
Spray gradual cooker with cooking spray. Roll four balls of aluminum foil and area on the backside of greased gradual cooker (to use as rack for hen so the juices will remain in the backside of sluggish cooker beneath the chicken).
Remove neck and goblet from the chicken, rinse the fowl with water and pat dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, whisk collectively salt pepper and seasonings. Rub seasoning combine all over hen skin.
Place the fowl on pinnacle of the aluminum foil. Cover with the lid and prepare dinner on low for 7-7.5 hours, or on excessive for 4-4.5 hours till the rooster is cooked via and reaches an interior temperature of one hundred sixty five F.
Carefully take away the fowl from the sluggish cooker (it’s very smooth and it may want to fall apart).
Serve the fowl as desired.
If you desire crispier skin, vicinity the fowl on a baking sheet and broil for 3-5 minutes.
