Smothered Baked Pork Chops are a basic dish, loved for their smooth and juicy pork chops smothered in a prosperous and savory sauce. This usual Southern relief meals originated in the United States, with roots in soul meals and Cajun cuisine. The dish has been handed down thru generations, and continues to be a favourite for its scrumptious flavors and heartwarming nature.

INGREDIENTS

  • Two kilos pork chops (bone-in optional)
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 5 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon freshly chopped rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to style

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper and positioned in greased baking dish.

3. Combine Dijon mustard, garlic, honey, chopped rosemary, and butter in a bowl. Microwave in 30 2nd intervals till butter has melted completely.
4. Pour half of of the honey-mustard combination over pork chops, spreading out with spoon. Turn pork chops over and unfold out the relaxation of mixture.

5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or till the pork chops are cooked thru and tender.
Serve your smothered baked pork chops with the sauce from the baking dish, and experience your scrumptious meal!
