A delicious Oreo cheesecake with a chocolate drizzle. Here’s a recipe to recreate this decadent dessert:

Oreo Cheesecake with Chocolate Drizzle

Ingredients:

Crust:
– 24 Oreo cookies, crushed into fine crumbs
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Filling:
– 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
– 3/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 3 large eggs
– 1 cup sour cream
– 15 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped

Topping:
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– Additional Oreo cookies, crushed, for garnish

Chocolate Drizzle:
– 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Crust:

– Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
– In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form an even layer. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool.

2. Prepare the Filling:

– In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract, and beat until combined.
– Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
– Fold in the sour cream and chopped Oreo cookies.
– Pour the filling over the cooled crust, spreading it evenly.

3. Bake the Cheesecake:

– Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and only slightly jiggles when gently shaken.
– Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door slightly open for 1 hour. Then remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature.
– Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours, or overnight.

4. Prepare the Topping:

– In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
– Spread the whipped cream over the top of the chilled cheesecake. Sprinkle additional crushed Oreo cookies on top for garnish.

5. Prepare the Chocolate Drizzle:

– In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
– Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of the cheesecake using a spoon or a piping bag.

6. Serve:

– Carefully remove the cheesecake from the springform pan. Slice and serve chilled.
