Perfect Steak Butter
Steak Butter
Simple, delicious steak butter (also known as compound butter) can be prepared in just minutes and gives a whole new flavor to hamburger steaks, ribeyes, strips, rib-eyes, porterhouse and filet mignon. .

INGREDIENTS
4 tablespoons softened butter
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tablespoons fresh Chopped Italian parsley
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon lemon zest
INSTRUCTIONS
In a bowl with a fork, mash softened butter, garlic, chopped parsley, salt, pepper and lemon. Heads up.
Just before serving, place a heaped tablespoon on the hot grilled steak.
NOTES
Remove the fillets from the refrigerator for 30 minutes before grilling.
Scrape the grill grate and brush lightly with cooking oil before heating.Prepare half of the grill very hot and sear the fillets. Just flip them over when they are golden brown and slightly crispy around the edges. Brown on both sides. Then set the fillets aside (over indirect heat) until cooked to your liking.
Turn them over with tongs.You don’t want to pierce them with a fork and waste all those wonderful juices on the bottom of the grill.
Remove from the grill, cover loosely with aluminum foil and let rest for ten minutes. Apply steak butter and serve.
